Question by Jerry S: Anyone had to cancel a vacation package with Orbitz, etc? Is it possible?
I have a vacation package for airfare, hotel scheduled for 2 people for May 9-15 to Cancun Mexico. I read some of their fine print and it says the airfare is non refundable… but what about the rest of it? Anyone ever had to do this? Is it value it or should we just try to go if we can?

You need to read the rest of the terms & conditions for your trip and find out what the cancellation policy is for the accomodations you’ve booked. Usually, you will be able to cancel up to a certain point before the trip and either get a full or partial refund. But, some special rates are pre-paid and non-refundable. Without seeing the specific details of what you signed up for, it’s not possible to give you an accurate definitive answer.
