Question by sarah452m: How much of a Disney vacation package do you have to pay for up front when you call to make a reservation?
I am trying to pay for a Disney Planet vacation package and I don’t have all the money now. So I was wondering how much of the package that I would have to pay for straight away. I am getting the works – park tickets, alternative hotel, dining package.

If you make reservations through WDW they require $ 200 at that time. I have done this and every payday will make a payment to pay the balance off.

You can make payments online ~ I use my debit card. Or you can mail your payment in.

Right now WDW has a free dining deal that is excellent for this September. Stay at a Disney alternative and you get the Dining Plot free. That includes a snack, counter service meal, and a table service meal. It is a fantastic discount and you get lots of food to eat. You may want to try out this out. But do it soon before all resorts are booked.

The cheapest would be Value Resorts. POP is a favorite. Their bus transport serves just POP so you don’t have pick ups/stop at other resorts.

Delight in making your diplomacy!

up front you have to pay a $ 200 deposit of the total.
by 45 days former to the trip you must pay off the rest.

For the package, I’m not sure, but you probably have to do a deposit. I know for us, we are staying at the hilton grand vacation hotel in Orlando, and we just had to give a credit card to hold it but not pay any money up front. As for the tickets, we bought them as we saved up from AAA.

The standard vacation package deposit is $ 200.00 up front, then the rest can be paid later, but by a specific date.

$ 200 up front and then u have up to 45 days before your try out in date to have it paid off. It is really nice that they do this. I permanently book about 6 months in advance that gives me 3 months to pay off and then 3 months to save for costs money and gas money etc. If you want the dining package they are offering free dining for reservations aug-sept but you must book by june 29. OH yeah and you will also save money if you go during a family members bday. B/c you book a package deal you won’t get free admission but the birthday guest can get a gift card value the price of the ticket to use towards merchandise, or you can get a free admission ticket excellent for 1 yr or a quick pass excellent for a party of five. Delight in your trip. Hope it is magical.

Hey! My bff is a travel agent and I reckon she has a smaller frank deposit and an extended payment plot… email me if you want her #… she’d be pleased to help you!

You have to pay $ 200 down, and the balance 45 days before your trip. If you make any changes after 45 days, there is a $ 50 fee.

You only have to pay one nighttime’s deposit for a room only reservation. (which would be less than the package deposit for a mod and value room. A deluxe would really be more money up front!)
If your trip isn’t too close, you can permanently book a room only reservation and then upgrade it to a package at a later date.
