Sport Court? Teams up With the United States Youth Futsal and United States Adult Futsal to Provide Safe, High-Performance Playing Surfaces for National Championships

Sport Court? has been elected as the official playing surface of the United States Youth Futsal and United States Adult Futsal, the official governing body for futsal in the United States and the only futsal league sanctioned for futsal by U. S. Soccer, the national governing body of soccer.
Sport Court will provide high-performance surfaces for the United States Youth Futsal?s National Championships in Kansas City Missouri, to be held over the President?s Day Weekend?Feb. 17 through 20?in 2012.
Six Response? futsal courts totaling more than 43,000 square feet will be supplied for the event, which will bring youth futsal players from across the US. The championships will be played all under one roof at the Overland Park Convention Center.
John Evade, Administration Director of U.S. Futsal, said Sport Court was elected for its playability as well as the safety. ?When the official governing body of futsal needed a partner we elected the best,? said Evade.
?We are pleased to support U.S. Soccer?s efforts to support and grow futsal throughout the U.S.,? said Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Utah-based Connor Sport Court.
Futsal is the only form of indoor soccer endorsed by FIFA. It earned the status of FIFA?s official form of indoor soccer in the 1980s as it was recognized as a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a 5 v 5 small-sided game played on a hard surfaced, basketball sized court with a smaller, heavier low bounce ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries and without walls.
In addition to supplying the surfaces here in the United States, Sport Court was also chosen by the Asian Football Integration to supply the surfaces for their futsal championship. The AFC hosts the largest futsal championship in the planet.

The mission of United States Youth Futsal (USYF) is to develop and enlarge the game of futsal in the United States. It does so by identifying and training qualified, entrepreneurial – minded soccer organizers who are passionate about building community futsal leagues and events. USYF supports the development of these leagues by providing hands-on guidance and planet class tools to the community league organizers.
USYF leagues offer amateur youth and adult players an opportunity to participate in organized futsal events and programs. Courtyard Willow Grove Hotel Finishes $1.8 Million Renovation

The kids at the Watts-Willowbrook Boys and Girls Club here are playing futsal on a colorful new Sport Court?, a gift from Connor Sport Court International, the U.S. Soccer Foundation and Nestle? Pure Life?s? program to enlarge futsal and healthy lifestyle opportunities across the U.S.????
The gift was made as part of the fifth annual Passback Tour on Saturday, August 12, with special guest Cristina Saralegui, Nestle?s spokesperson and supporter of healthy habits for the Hispanic community. Cristina Saralegui is a journalist, actress and Spanish-language talk show host.
Sport Court joined Nestle and the U.S. Soccer Foundation as part of the ?Echale Agua a Tu Vida? initiative to inspire families to live healthier lifestyles through staying active.
The 2011 Passback Tour runs from July to October, reaching Miami, Washington, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, Dallas, Las Vegas, Chicago and Phoenix. The tour works with family 5-12, offering soccer sports meeting and activities that emphasize healthy lifestyles. It also connects families with community soccer programs that can help family achieve the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity each day.
